Frequently Asked Questions; Your first stop for information

MINIMUM ORDER:   A total order minimum of $10.00 is required before the order will be processed.

EPA:  Know your limitations and rights by reading the law for yourself.  We do not offer any refrigerant that is not part of a component for a new system which is specifically outlined by the EPA regulation here.  This specifically states that, "Wholesalers may sell different components of pre-charged split systems at different times to uncertified individuals as long as the wholesaler has reason to believe that these will be assembled into new split systems"

FREE SHIPPING:    We set up our shipping program to default to UPS for items in their weight categories served, and then by freight companies for weights above that.  While researching various freight rates, companies, and their services it was noticed that it costs more to ship an item 2000 miles than it does 50 miles.  Furthermore in our research we have yet to find a company that will deliver our goods for free.  All of them wanted to charge us something for their services, some more, some less, but all had at least a minimum charge.  If you know of anyone or company that will delivery items countrywide for FREE please, please, contact us. When it came to deciding how to recoup our costs for shipping we decided to add the freight based on the customers location, rather than average out the costs.  We feel this is the fairest way to handle shipping.  See our Shipping policies here.

RETURNS:    Returns are accepted based on our written Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of sale.

DELIVERY:    Most items are stocked at the warehouse.  Items that are not stocked are noted with an "*" in their model number in the stores.  Stocked items will be normally shipped within 1 day of funds approval.  In some cases the item will have to ship from another warehouse which may take a couple of days to arrange. 

PAYMENTS:    We accept major Credit Cards (powered by Paypal) directly on our site (secure transaction), and off site through Paypal.  You can also use the Paypal system linked to your account or an e-check, Paypal Express, or Google Checkout.   For more information please view the payments page.

TRACKING:    For UPS packages we offer online tracking on our website here.  UPS tracking information is not available until at least the next business day for items shipped from the factory warehouse.  For freight shipping, the tracking number and web address and/or a phone number of the freight company will be emailed to you upon shipment.  To check your order we also offer online order checking here, your tracking number will be viewable here in addition to regular emails as the order status is updated.

MANUALS:     Manuals and other information for our products are available for download in PDF format.  Sorry, we do not offer hard copies without a sale at this time.

WARRANTIES:    All of our products come with the full term of the manufacturers warranty.  Warranty claims do not need to run through us but rather can be handled by your local independent dealers.

REBATES:    If rebates are available you will be given an invoice and the form to fill out for your rebate.  The rebate is offered by the manufacturer to the consumer, and do not need to go through us.

CONDITION:    All of our products are NEW and UNUSED and NOT remanufactured, refurbished, or repaired in anyway.

WHOLESALE:    For our frequent customers, we can set up an account with a negotiated discount.  You will receive log in credentials to be able to view your pricing online, and enter orders at the discounted price.

TAXES:    We collect sales tax for items sold into the State of Minnesota.  We are not authorized to collect sales tax in other states.  That however does not necessarily mean that a tax is not due to your state or municipality.  Several areas have their own requirements and means for you to pay sales tax for items not purchased at a physical store in your region. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:    We will only ship to the United States.

CLIENT LOGIN:    This is for clients who have signed up for special discounts, tax exempt status, shipping exempt status, or other special provisions.  This is only offered to established clients, and must be done through our administration.  If you feel you are eligible for further discounts, have tax exempt status, or would like to discuss this further please contact us here.

BEATING WRITTEN QUOTES:  We will not accept, or even look at quotes from other dealers.  Our prices are shown upfront, and are not negotiated.  We do not want to compete with the hard work of another dealer who probably assembled a complete system solution for you.  We will consider pricing inquiries referencing other online sources of published costs.  This does not included other media such as Print Ads, Radio, TV, or printed flyers.

BILLING PARTY:   You will see G&H Engineered Systems on your statement or any invoices we send.
