Shipping Policies and Plans
To see shipping
cost estimate, add items to cart. You will have to add your zip code
for an accurate cost.
We calculate shipping based on the total order placed at one time. In other words, if you’d like 5 items, it will cost less to order all five at the same time, rather than individually.
It costs more to ship two 100 lb items than one 200 lb skid. There are
several different methods available to calculate shipping during checkout.
Prices are calculated based on your distance from our warehouse; the exceptions are Alaska and Hawaii, which require either UPS or an actual freight quote being generated,
or Freight Collect. A. UPS - For orders under 150 lbs, the system will calculate the freight based on UPS pricing. During Checkout you can choose: 1. UPS Standard Ground 2. UPS Second Day Air 3. UPS Next Day Air
B. Commercial Delivery - For orders above 100 lbs, and all orders above 150 lbs freight
based shipping is provided for most states. This rate will have your
equipment delivered to a commercial location, with the ability to off load
the equipment. C. Residential Delivery – For delivery to a
residence, this requires you to also have the ability to off load the
equipment, as the driver is not required to help.
D. Lift Gate Delivery - A truck with a lift gate will be provided
to get the load to the ground, this is for a commercial location.
E. Residential/Lift Gate Delivery - To deliver to a residence and
with a lift gate. See Policies for complete Terms and Conditions
SHIPMENTS - HVAC-Direct.com shall not be bound to deliver any goods for which Buyer has not given shipping instructions. UNLESS SHIPPED UNDER A SECURITY AGREEMENT AND CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT, TITLE TO GOODS PASSES TO THE BUYER UPON DELIVERY TO THE TRANSPORTATION COMPANY AT POINT OF SHIPMENT. ALL GOODS ARE SHIPPED AT BUYER’S RISK. BUYER SHOULD EXAMINE SHIPMENTS CAREFULLY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE AND SHOULD HAVE SAME NOTED BY TRANSPORTATION AGENT ON THE FREIGHT BILL BEFORE ACCEPTING DELIVERY.
REFUSE DELIVERY IF DAMAGED, AS WE CAN WORK ON YOUR BEHALF EASIER WHEN IT
IS STILL IN THE POSSESSION OF THE CARRIER.

IT IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CLAIM DAMAGE AND RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT
FOR DAMAGED SHIPMENT FROM THE CARRIER. WE WILL ASSIST WHERE WE CAN, HOWEVER
IF YOU'VE ACCEPTED THE DAMAGED EQUIPMENT THE CLAIM IS MUCH MORE DIFFICULT.
